TELL US A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT YOU?
I am the Chief Operating Officer of Boss Business Market, a creative development agency that specializes in creating digital marketing collateral for personal brands and small to mid-sized businesses. Our agency is entirely digital so supporting our global talent and client network is such a learning experience, especially during a time like this. I have a huge passion for people and helping them understand the ‘why’ behind who they are and what they do.
DURING YOUR TIME VOLUNTEERING FOR A COMMUNITY ACTIVITY OR PROJECT, WHAT IS YOUR MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT?
Well, in that I am currently serving on the board of B.t.e.p, a.ka. (Bringing Together Extraordinary People) where they serve to engage the social-economic needs of our communities through health/wellness, artistic expression, and the eradication of bullying, my memories could be limitless. However, one memory that was distinct happened to involve the maven of television itself, Oprah Winfrey. Through B.t.e.p’s leadership around the Healthier Church Challenge sponsored by Weight Watchers and The American Heart Association, the Park Church was the #1 church in the nation, as well as having the most signups per WW registrations at (110). From the founder’s mouth to your ears, he was appreciative and grateful for my social media acumen and zeal for the community that supported their marketing efforts to a whole new level.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE QUOTE THAT YOU STAND BY?
“We must rejoice in suffering because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character and character, hope. And this hope does not disappoint us because has pour his love into our by way of the Holy Spirit, which he has given to us” (Romans 5:3-5). This is a scripture that has resonated with me throughout my 23 years because it shows that the things we go through in life only shape us for the future and as long as you have faith and courage to proceed on and have faith in the same God who carries us through our day to day struggles.

It’s hard to say because of where our world is now but professionally, I see Boss Business Market proliferating exponentially beyond my wildest dreams with an ever so vast global network. In 10 years, I see myself really honing into my skills and craft while also helping other young women who are pursuing careers in STEM to do the same.
