HOW LONG HAVE YOU LIVED IN CHARLOTTE AREA?
TELL US A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT YOU?
After working in Hong Kong and traveling in Southeast Asia, I moved to Charlotte to begin working with a small (at the time) company called Clean Juice. Over the past two years, we’ve grown the company from 2 to 30 stores, with another 70 opening in 2018. Establishing ourselves as the first and only USDA certified franchise has allowed us to generate international recognition as the top emerging franchise brand of 2017.
DURING YOUR TIME VOLUNTEERING FOR A COMMUNITY ACTIVITY OR PROJECT, WHAT IS YOUR MOST MEMORIAL MOMENT?
My most memorable moment came from hosting and running my own tennis camp called “Beard’s Beginners.” This camp was special to me because we brought in 20 children from the underprivileged communities of Hertford County, NC, the town where I grew up.
IN YOUR OPINION, HOW DO YOU CONTRIBUTE TO THE COMMUNITY?
Through work: Clean Juice serves communities by providing a healthy, organic alternative to fast food options. Further, being a faith-based organization, we partner at every location with like-minded community brand ambassadors who work as health role models in the communities.
