One of my most memorable moments was hosting my first back to school event for the youth. This event provided free school supplies, food and entertainment to ~100 kids. To plan this event under my nonprofit meant a lot as well as securing community partners to donate.
IN YOUR OPINION, HOW DO YOU CONTRIBUTE TO THE COMMUNITY? PLEASE BE AS DETAILED AS YOU CAN.
I feel that I contribute to the community by being a … for educational development through my non-profit Time 4 Change, community development through my volunteer efforts with the Junior League, Delta Sigma Theta and my place of employment, and economic development as I am currently making a plan to obtain my first rental property.
Through Time 4 Change, we also mentor the youth on topics such as finance, mental and physical health, networking, community involvement and career choices.
