WHERE WERE YOU BORN?
HOW LONG HAVE YOU LIVED IN CHARLOTTE AREA?
TELL US A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT YOU?
I’m originally from a small rural town in southwest Missouri called Marshfield. Since the age of 20, I’ve moved to Hawaii, New York City, and Miami Beach before finally landing in Charlotte. I live in uptown currently and I love the Queen City! I’m a full time Real Estate Broker licensed in North and South Carolina. My sister Nicole George (Previously Nicole McAlister) and my brother in law Jeremy George invited me to move to Charlotte from Miami Beach to join their real estate team “Premier Property Solutions” about 2 years ago. Nicole and I met for the first time about 3 years ago. She was adopted, and we didn’t even know about each other for most of our lives. Now, all three of us run Premier Property Solutions and we are a Client Focused company. We are hyper focused on quality of client experience, building life long relationships, and giving back. We are very thankful to have such amazing clients who trust us, and we’ve got the reviews to prove it! We currently have 140 5 Star Reviews out of 140 total reviews on Zillow alone.
DURING YOUR TIME VOLUNTEERING FOR A COMMUNITY ACTIVITY OR PROJECT, WHAT IS YOUR MOST MEMORIAL MOMENT?
My most memorable moment is meeting a young man named Josh with pediatric cancer at Levine’s Children Hospital. My real estate team partnered up with Joedance Film Festival to offer warm meals for families staying at the hospital long term with their children. I was helping a set of parents bring food to the room and they invited me in to meet their son. He was very sick but when they introduced me to him, he had the biggest smile on his face and he was so excited to meet another Josh. We visited for a few moments and I couldn’t even hold back the tears as I left his room. He is so brave, and he reminded me how lucky I am to be in the position I am to give back to families like his. I’ll never forget how he made me feel just by being so happy even though he’s facing the toughest of challenges in his life.
IN YOUR OPINION, HOW DO YOU CONTRIBUTE TO THE COMMUNITY?
I’ve been lucky enough to be a part of several local events here in Charlotte. Keller Williams and the Real Estate Industry as a whole does a great job of giving back. My office in SouthPark has a day of every year where we pick a foundation and we ask them how we can help with our time. Last year, we worked with the YWCA in Charlotte. They are a wonderful organization that believes in eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace and dignity for all. We rounded up supplies to help revitalize their campus. We painted inside and out, revamped their garden, donated hundreds of books, and completely overhauled the lawns and exterior grounds. We are planning to do it again in May of this year.
The organization that I personally hold closest to my heart is Joedance Film Festival. They are an organization that donates to rare pediatric cancer research. Our real estate team has partnered with them on several occasions and we build a stronger relationship with them ever day. Diane and Mike Restaino had a wonderful son named Joe that passed away at a young age from Osteosarcoma (a rare bone disease). They created a Film Festival in his honor in a park located in the Fourth Ward. It has grown so much over the last 9 years that we have to change the venue to the Charlotte Ballet this year (2018). We do our best to help them in any way that we can. We host dinners for families at Levine’s Children Hospital so that they don’t have to leave and spend money on food if they don’t want to. We donate a portion of our commission on every closing to their cause and we actually get to see where every dollar goes. We take pictures with all our clients at the closing table with a sign that says “Joedance Film Festival: Powered by Premier Property Solutions”. It also has a hashtag: #keysforacure. We host a tailgate for every Panthers home game that has an average of 100 people in attendance where we raise money by finding or buying fun things to raffle off (#tailgateforacure). We also have #dinnersforacure. My brother in law Jeremy has a culinary degree from JWU and he prepares a wonderful 5 course meal to people who are willing to pay $100 per seat. Whatever isn’t spent on food and supplies, goes directly to Joedance. I’m truly honored to be a part of all those events and many more to come.
My team and I has also had the opportunities to collect literally truckloads of food and supplies for hurricane-stricken areas and donated our time to local food banks to sort donations. All in all, I love that what I do, grants me so many chances to give back.
PLEASE LET US KNOW ANY AWARDS OR RECOGNITIONS YOU’VE RECEIVED IN YOUR PROFESSIONAL CAREER:
I’ve been selected by the Charlotte Real Producers Magazine as a Rising Star. They choose one per month and my issue is the April 2018 print. It was a fun experience being interviewed by a writer and having a whole photo shoot (where I showcased our new and improved Joedance, #keysforacure sign). To be selected, you must be in the business for less than 3 years and you must do over 4 million in sales in one year. My first full year, I sold over 6 million in homes and since becoming licensed, I’ve sold over 9 million. My goal for 2018 is 15 million in sales and to help at least 50 families find or sell a home.
Since I’ve started my real estate career here in Charlotte, 100% of my reviews are a perfect 5 Stars.
Top producing Agent of 2017 for the Premier Property Solutions team among Brokers only group.
WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES OR INTEREST?
My spare time is limited; however, I try to get outside as much as possible. I enjoy wake surfing on Wylie or Norman during the summer. I also play disc golf pretty often because it works very well with a tight schedule. Jeremy (my brother in law and business partner) and I can just get outdoors and hop on a course at any time of day without worrying about a tee time or course closings. I’ve recently picked up snowboarding and I look forward to spending more time on the slopes during the winter months.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE QUOTE THAT YOU STAND BY?
I have many quotes that I Cherish. Les Brown, Eric Thomas, and a group called Fearless Motivation have always inspired me to be the best person I can be. Not only for myself, but also for my family, friends, and anyone else who needs me to be at any given time. If I had to choose only one, it would be: “I didn’t come this far to only come this far. I came this far, so I could be strong enough to go further”. It’s one line out of a fantastic speech by Fearless Motivation.
WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 5 YEARS? 10 YEARS?
In 5 years I plan to be the top producing real estate broker in the greater Charlotte area and help grow our real estate team through other sectors including property management and commercial real estate.
In 10 years, my goal is to help create at least one millionaire (not including myself) through real estate.
CAN YOUR SHARE ONE THING THAT IS ON YOUR BUCKET LIST?
One thing that is very high on my bucket list is to visit Italy. I would love to see Rome, Florence, and Sicily.
WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU USED YOUR PASSPORT?
I have traveled all over the United States, but I have yet to travel beyond that. I have a few trips planned next year including Italy and the Caribbean.
WHAT IS A FUN FACT ABOUT YOURSELF THAT NO ONE KNOWS?
This is pretty corny, but I actually have a memory box. Well, really a tote now. I keep movie and sports tickets, memorabilia, cards, and anything that I think I might want to remember later in life.
WHO IS YOUR HERO?
My number one hero is my sister Nicole George. She has created a business and a life that has affected so many other lives in such a positive way. Nicole has personally changed my life simply by believing in me and providing me with the tools and advise that I need to not only succeed but put myself in a situation to help others succeed as well. I think that’s a very special thing. Armed with her relentless work ethic and huge heart, she has inspired me be better in every aspect of life. That includes giving back, raising others up, and creating a business that she’s proud of.
