I’m a software designer, developer, and entrepreneur living in 3rd ward. In addition to my work life, I’m a musician, and am active in Charlotte’s cycling community.
In 2013, I rode my bike from San Francisco to Los Angeles with 3000 others to raise money for HIV and AIDS related charities. I’ll never forget the overwhelming feeling of accomplishment and gratitude I had riding into Los Angeles on the last day of our ride. It was an amazing, humbling experience - absolutely life-changing.
I recently got involved with Sustain Charlotte’s Bicycle program. I’m excited to have the opportunity to make improvements in Charlotte’s ever growing community of cyclists, and make an impact on how cycling is treated both as a sport and a means of transportation in our city and state.
I play guitar and sing in Citizen Swing, a local band. I’m also into Cycling, and I practice hot yoga regularly.

In 5 years, I’ll be wherever opportunity takes me. Hopefully with the occasional nap thrown in.
I’d like to spend at least a few weeks doing an unsupported bicycle tour. Nothing but me, my bike, my gear, and maybe a few friends - going wherever the road leads.
Literally right now - I’m writing this in Paris, France. Before this, the last time I left the country was in February, when I visited Bali and Vietnam.
Well, actually one time I -- wait... I see what you did there. Some secrets are best kept to myself.
I’ve got lots of heros, I think. I appreciate anyone whose actions are genuinely motivated by a desire to make the world around them better, at any scope or size.
