TELL US A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT YOU?

After graduating from Kenan-Flagler Business School at UNC-Chapel Hill, I began my career as an Analyst with J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Washington, DC. In 2013 I joined Novare Capital Management in Charlotte where I serve as a Private Wealth Advisor. In my role I provide creative and integrated solutions for accumulating, preserving, and transferring wealth to high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners. Additionally, I developed and lead the firm’s next generation education service, providing financial education to individuals of all ages. I hold the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM designation and am a member of the Financial Planning Association of Charlotte.

DURING YOUR TIME VOLUNTEERING FOR A COMMUNITY ACTIVITY OR PROJECT, WHAT IS YOUR MOST MEMORIAL MOMENT?

Serving on the board of the Charlotte Carolina Club in 2015, we raised $10,500 in scholarship funds to award 7 recipients with $1,500 each towards their education at UNC-Chapel Hill.

IN YOUR OPINION, HOW DO YOU CONTRIBUTE TO THE COMMUNITY?

As a Charlotte native, I enjoy giving back to the community by focusing on promoting the arts and serving those in need. I am an active member of Young Affiliates of the Mint, Habitat Young Professionals of Charlotte, and the Junior League of Charlotte. I also serve on the board of the Charlotte Carolina Club as Enrichment Co-Chair, coordinating cultural events for local UNC-Chapel Hill alumni and raising scholarship funds for area high school students attending UNC-Chapel Hill.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES OR INTEREST?

I enjoy cheering our hometown professional sports teams, trying out new restaurants, capturing the outdoors either on the greenway or Whitewater Center, and traveling.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE QUOTE THAT YOU STAND BY?

“Enjoy the Ride.” Meaning to embrace each moment as it is, recognizing there will be both good times and bad times.

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 5 YEARS?

Professionally, I hope to continue growing in my role as a private wealth advisor. I also picture myself staying active in the nonprofit community, and hope to purchase my first home.

WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU USED YOUR PASSPORT?

2015 for a vacation touring around Italy (also one of my bucket list items!) with a group of multi-national young adults.

WHAT IS A FUN FACT ABOUT YOURSELF THAT NO ONE KNOWS?

As a pre-teen I performed at Disneyland with my competition dance team. Our dances included performances to “Crocodile Rock,” “Rip It Up,” and “One Way or Another.”
