I’ve lived in six states since graduating high school, I have a wheaten terrier named Jojo, I once ate 50 hot dogs in two days, and I’ve given myself a concussion by walking into a low doorway overhang – twice.
My little brother, through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Carolina, gives me a new moment every week. His spirit and passion amazes me. I’ve known him for three years and there are too many great memories to pick out one.
By being engaged and being passionate about progress. Every day presents little opportunities to make our community stronger – in our neighborhoods, around causes near to our hearts, with the people who live and work here. I try not to let those opportunities pass by. I’m not moving mountains, but I hope doing all those little things adds up to being a valuable community member.
I love the active stuff: basketball, golf, tennis, running and the gym. I’m a homeowner and I nerd out on things like dry walling and replacing hot water heaters. I’m an eating enthusiast as well, which has turned me into a cooking enthusiast – especially overly elaborate breakfasts.
