Position: Owner; Owner (respectively)
Age: 29

WHERE WERE YOU BORN?

Charlotte, North Carolina.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU LIVED IN CHARLOTTE AREA?

My whole life.

TELL US A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT YOU?

Born and raised in Charlotte NC. I am an extreme foodie. I love traveling and exploring new places although I spend most of my time working. I enjoy what I do very much even in the stressful times. I grew up on Lake Norman boating, fishing, and wakeboarding. The beach is my favorite place. I try to spend any free time doing outdoor activities. I spent a lot of time after high school in San Diego, California surfing and exploring. If I had to pick anywhere else in the U.S to live it would definitely be San Diego. Back in 2012, I went to part-time with my job at Central Payment and started a printing company with my good friend and now after 5 years we print for some great companies and groups such as Bacardi, Outreach America, Charlotte Knight cheerleaders, Charlotte Hornet cheerleaders, many local businesses, and worldwide shipping and fulfillment for several brands out of London, UK. Just last year I backed away from daily operations to focus on sales for Epic Apparel as well as going back to my old job at Central Payment ultimately to start my own office of Central Payment here in Charlotte with one of my best friends. We work with over 1,000 businesses in North and South Carolina. Home is where the heart is and I hope to be able to raise my family here in Charlotte, North Carolina.

DURING YOUR TIME VOLUNTEERING FOR A COMMUNITY ACTIVITY OR PROJECT, WHAT IS YOUR MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT?

Once volunteering at the Men’s Shelter on N. Tryon I served a man food and spoke with him briefly about his life. He had experienced so much and I felt sorry to see him in the same position. He told me that times like this never last and that he will always stay strong. Two years later, I saw the same man dressed in business attire getting on a bus with his briefcase. It seemed as if his life had made a major change and I felt humbled to be able to meet him.

IN YOUR OPINION, HOW DO YOU CONTRIBUTE TO THE COMMUNITY?

I feel that I am a great part of the community from volunteering and attending events to providing jobs and great service to local businesses.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES OR INTERESTS?

I enjoy anything outdoors from camping, fishing, four wheeling, rock climbing. I especially love board sports and water sports to be specific. Growing up on Lake Norman I was always wake surfing, swimming, and fishing.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE QUOTE THAT YOU STAND BY?

“Happiness is a state of mind. Its not dictated by outward circumstances – really. Learning to see a situation as it is, not as you hoped or feared it would be, is one of the keys to being content.”

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 5 YEARS?

I hope to see myself working less and traveling more.

CAN YOU SHARE ONE THING THAT IS ON YOUR BUCKET LIST?

I have checked off a few already but other than traveling to certain companies I want to visit Vietnam and meet some of my distant family.
